Atalanta – now Ikigai – 82′ Sailing Yacht
Atalanta, a 82′ fast sailing yacht
A light displacement sailing yacht built to the plans of Judel Vrolijk, Atalanta is outfitted with a carbon mast and self-furling carbon boom. The interior is spacious, modern and welcoming; fashioned from clear varnished teak, the large owners cabin and two guest cabins are situated forward. Amidships, there is open to the spacious saloon and dining room. Behind the companionway we find, to port the nav station and chart table as well as the crew cabin, and to starboard, the galley and crew mess. The transom opens to give access to the garage where the tender is stored. No one can hide the sheer pleasure of sailing Atalanta: sensational to helm, she is fantastic upwind.
