MY 50m Aluminum Explorer
The naval architecture and exterior styling are entrusted to Humphreys Yacht Design based in Lymington, UK. For Tom Humphreys: “The design has benefitted from a highly integrated approach to marry all the technical, functional and client specific requirements and underpinned through a rigorous naval architecture effort where intensive CFD work was ultimately validated by one of the most comprehensive model testing programs”.
This new motor yacht will have a light displacement, an hybrid propulsion, stabilizer fins combined with a large Gyro, capacity to carry large tender and multiples toys.
The life inside will be open on the exterior with a lot of glass and large outside areas. The interior design is done by m2 atelier in Milan founded by architects Marijana Radovic and Marco Bonelli.
The construction of the hull has started autumn 2021. The delivery is 2024.
The 50 m Aluminium Explorer is the first custom motor yacht in JFA Yachts with an aluminium hull and part of the superstructure in composite glass epoxy.
“This project confirms our ability to adapt to unique projects. Since 1993, the expertise of JFA Yachts based on constructions or renovations all as different from each other, allows us to go further. We see in this project both a great confidence and recognition of all these years of service to our clients”, says Frédéric Jaouen – CEO of JFA Yachts.
