Performance Carbon Cruiser – 154′ Sailing Yacht
A sharp lithe 47m
JFA Yachts has teamed up with Humphreys Yacht Design to present this conceptual 47m fast cruiser built from carbon fiber with a very sharp profile. Lean bowed with low freeboard and long running chine back to the wide rockered, twin ruddered, straight ended stern, she draws on HYD’s considerable experience in transoceanic short-handed racing yachts, and looks set to fly downwind and sit comfortably on her haunch upwind at speed with the big carbon rig powered up. Transitioning between regatta and regular cruising, high form stability is an HYD norm making for good guest comfort aboard. Plans show five guest suites aft, master, two doubles and two twins, with forward of the mast quarters for eight crew. Forward there’s also a lower deck saloon/AV room, while the main deck provides three discrete yet co-joined social areas, the main saloon and two cockpit zones. There are full dining arrangements both in and out, the latter under the panelled fixed bimini. The pillar supports aft interestingly incorporate displays for the driver.
