For JFA Yachts, 2015 was clearly marked by the progress in the construction and design of two superb motor yachts.
Firstly, the MY 135’ that is currently being built in Hall 3 of the Concarneau’s construction site. The whole team is working on this luxurious boat signed Overing whose launch is planned for 2016. Furthermore, JFA Yachts is also currently developing the MY 164’ Explorer Vessel in collaboration with Bill Dixon. Studies are underway for the development of a diesel-electric version of the project.
We have also followed closely the first year of the Long Island 85’ WindQuest, this new generation of luxury cruising catamaran designed by Marc Lombard and launched in spring 2014. With over 12 000 nautical miles traveled and 13 countries visited, WindQuest has become the flagship of JFA Yachts’ skills and expertise regarding catamarans of this size. A special relationship has been established with the owner that we will detail a little later in this newsletter. The outcome is of course the construction of a second Long Island 85’. The Long Island 100’ is even more relevant than ever.
An incredible 45 meters superyacht also been through the expert hands of the shipyard this year: the wonderful Mari-Cha III. With the infrastructure and the know-how, the boat has chosen Concarneau for her 6 weeks technical check-up. A prestigious stop that has delighted JFA Yachts team.
Finally, exchanges enhance the genesis of great ideas, we are always willing to meeting and talking with you on several Shows in which participate JFA Yachts: in Cannes for the Yachting Festival, in Monaco for the Monaco Yacht Show and in Fort Lauderdale for the International Boat Show, but also in La Grande Motte for the International Multihull Boat Show and in London for the London Yacht, Jet & Luxury Car Show at the beginning of next season.
