JFA Yachts reveals the signature of a superyacht tender, the LuXplorer 560.
JFA Yachts announces the construction of a 5.6 m tender named LuXplorer 560 in collaboration SPARK Marine Projects ordered as a tender to a 50m superyacht. The tender is currently in build at the French shipyard benefitting from the expertise of its highly qualified craftsmen.
The realisation of the new LuXplorer 560 project is the result of a collaboration with SPARK Marine Projects, a multidisciplinary design and naval architecture studio based in Monaco. The LuXplorer 560 will be a blend of clean lines, elegance and minimalism as distinctive features of this vessel built in epoxy glass infusion.
More spacious than a RIB-type tender of this size, the LuXplorer 560 has been personalised to the requirements of the owner for guest safety and ease of boarding, simplified crew operations and handling, plus water sports activities. Thanks to a deep-V hull, she offers improved comfort underway for 8 guests and crew members. A 170 HP inboard engine will give her a maximum speed of 30 knots.
In 2021, JFA Yachts announced the expansion of its infrastructure with 1300 m² of workshops dedicated to composite construction in response to strong demand for new-build and refit expertise from superyacht owners. Today vessel parts, decks and superstructures can be made in-house under the supervision of a specialised team. JFA Yachts is also currently producing composite parts for a 50m explorer motor yacht under construction for delivery in 2024.
Aligned with this expansion into composite vessel projects, a 10.5m high-performance all-electric dayboat made of epoxy carbon was also delivered by JFA Yachts in 2021. This first-in-series vessel was built for VITA Yachts displaying a high level of quality that has received praise at recent industry shows and events.
JFA Yachts continues its development as a key-player in the superyacht tender market in addition to its main activity dedicated to the construction and refit of yachts over 20m. This positioning requires the same level of quality standards and know-how as for the larger vessels that JFA Yachts has produced in recent years.
